Following really good info on here (thanks), today fitted an additional first aid box under my drivers seat.
The box info is readily available here, + you need the bracket part no 52 10 7 045 018 & 3 screws part no 72 12 8 235 266, box, bracket & screws total about £17 - £18. Put the seat on its highest & most rearward position. You can put your head on the floor and with a torch see the 3 holes, the bracket helps you locate them. Fit the screws first, they are tight, as they cut a thread on their way in, then remove them and re-fit with the bracket. Finally add some washing up liquid to the groves in the box to help it slide & click into position. A couple of tips, try the box into the bracket first before fitting, then you understand how it fits, and file off any burrs on the plastic grooves on the bracket, finally before sliding and locking the box under the seat, line the box with some type of fabric, to prevent annoying rattles.
Now I have a very usefull strorage area on my drivers side.
Time taken about 1 hour, my Z4 is a 2007 - 2.5i Sport roadster.

Hey cheeky, I am 56, so dont' bend and get up as I use to, I spent 15 mins sorting my torq bit for the naughty screws.
cheers
