well i finally fitted these buggers today and ohhh what a lovely job to do... really enjoyed that....... simple simple simple.... couldnt really be easier... also gave the sills a nice clean up underneath... Anyhow fitting was a breeze, everything lined up perfectly... They look really aggressive in the flesh to the point where i stood back from the car and said "wow" that really looks great..... very very pleased, colour match was bang on too. ignore the shitty pics, i wanted to get the car back in as i needed to get back to the office.... im going to wrap the front and rear section wrapped in clear shield so stop the stone chips, my old ones were peppered to f**k.... BTW i had to trim mine and im pleased i took the time to do that, they fit bob on, Really pleased with them.... £500 however???? not worth it imo..... if i had a darker car, no way would i bother... just my opinion.

i look at these and think mmmmmm i like,, but then the cost,, well the cost of getting them painted which nearly doubles the price... but then again mine is dark so i will take you advice and leave well alone..

Looks brilliant. They look great on lighter coloured cars but as you say not so good on the darker ones. I was tempted to put some on my old black coupe but couldnt justify the expenditure for that reason...

PS where's your stubby :poke:

yup used all new fittings, the old ones were fine however, could have easily reused them but wanted to use the new stuff...

i think you'll find your having issue due to the last pop in clip not being located, you need to give it a good firm thud with the palm of your hand..... mine has no gap in this area.

Good man

Looks subtle but great.... but maybe its the pics but i think they look better on grey cars.... but least you can see them on your silver.. no-one notices them on my black car!

Well done and looks awesome - so glad you got there in the end

Wait until you're out and about and see the light play on them as it really adds to the dramatic lines.

It was a good idea to use all new clips as in my experience sometimes the new clips don't lock tightly into the old bases. Might be a minor design change or age and re-use issue.

Next up??

Time to get brave with black sapp met...
Im
Going to add the details to tie in thr hardtop, also have alpina rear spoiler to go on but want simpson to paintbthat due to it also being "bi colour".

finny thing is in the flesh it looks anything BUT subtle certain angles look almost cartoonishly aggressive, the REALLY stand out on the silver.... night and day difference, but imo not worth the money.... thats just my view, im glad i have them now and they really add to the car but its money i could have spent elsewhere.

Wow, stunning!
But as you said in a darker car... It's a no for me :headbang: .

Looks great, can't wait to see mine fitted, at least another 2 weeks before that though :( , bloody work  .
Getting a few other things done aswell at the same time, so not looking forward to the bill :o
Trying not to think of them as £500 job as it hurts when I do :D .

Which bit did you have to trim? (for when I do mine)

the tabs on the back i trimmed to match the stock tabs, they aero sills tabs stick out by quite abit more..... maybe no needed but i did it anyway, im glad i did.
