fitted hood side covers

Enjoy them when they arrive - hey what about a competition: How quickly can you remove them and put the top up....! :trampoline:

I bought these and have used them twice in three years!!!! Always forget when the weather is nice and the roof is down for a while. The real problem is that in a decent law abiding country you could park up and leave your roof down but.......need I say more.

They live in a nice velcro fixed bag in the boot. They do look smart on though

I dont even know what these are.... anyone got pics of ANY z4 with these on? I know, i know, google is my friend and all that, but I can't find any pics :(

i bet it helps with noise, aerodynamics, fuel economy and aesthetics - on very small scale though and is probably good for warmer climates and it prevents dirt falling into areas. For those driving with roof up a lot it's not very useful, I would agree.

They look good. A little bit pointless though aren't they? It would just make it harder to put the roof back up if it rained.

Is it Groundhog Day or something?

Its whatever floats your boat - it covers up a really insightly mess IMHO and I leave my roof down a lot because work is a secure MoD site and home in Wales is in the arse end of nowhere, so providing I watch the weather these will be on a lot!!

Yep, if you live in a hot climate where the car can sit on your big drive roof down all day, or under an awning or whatever, great.

But for most UK users I don't think they will make much sense. I wouldn't leave my car anywhere with the roof down unattended to start with, and if it was at home parked up the roof would be up in case of rain anyway.

So not pointless, but I'd struggle to justify actually using them often in the UK.
