How do you find the Pilot Sport 4 compared to the vredestein ultrac vorti?

H'mm good question, The profile of the ps4's sits flatter to the road and makes the car feel more planted, the steering seems more precise with effortless cornering. The overall ride is very smooth and extremely quiet. This is not to say that I don't rate the Vred/ultrac vorti's. They are also a great tyre and offer a great ride and excellent cornering with quiet running. I would be happy with either .But I think the ps4's have the edge they have the ability to make the car feel in tune with the road. Like most things its a personal choice and I guess driving style comes into it for me I feel more comfortable on the Michelins.

I run 38psi on the rear too. Been good for the last 8k miles including track time. Handles like it's on rails.

Edit - Keep the PSI higher if you do like driving spirited at times

Never run 38psi on mine, so can't comment on the feel, but aren't you running 19" wheels like me Joyce ? In which case, surely a lower PSI would take the edge off ? Can understand the OP running a higher PSI due to the smaller wheel size.

Im running 32F 35R and find it a good compromise.

But as we all know, this is very much a personal preference as much as anything. If the car feels more planted with higher PSI and you can accept the harsher ride, then so be it. And as you say, yours is a weekend toy, so any miles are fun miles ! :driving:

Glad you said that, they are actually 18's with a slight stretch. Your right though its all about what works for you.

Bare in mind though these figure the manufactures give you are for normal daily driving conditions on the public roads.

Thank you for the feedback I think mine will have ps4 within 2 weeks I think my choice Is Done

Today I was aiming to clean them inside and outside... I made one wheel perfectly till the anti theft was broken... Still 3 to go... Damn I ll need to find a solution

PS4 fitted ... I've only driven 10 km but I can already tell a difference ... Confort and Silence !! This is day / night difference. I'm driving it a lot more tomorrow I'll be able to give a better feedback

I've been at my small garage agreed by BMW and they told me I need to replace a silentbloc, which I still need to do and afterwards it will be totally ok !

What are the treadwear, traction and temperature ratings on the sidewall?

I'm running F1s with AA, A and 300 that lasted 20,000 miles on the rear. I'm interested to know what these PS4s are rated as because I need new rears.
