Fitted a Grom?

I've just bought a Grom BT3.
From the relatively poor instructions it appears this may be connected to a permanent live (but I'm not sure), so before I start the job I was wondering if anyone one who has this fitted can confirm either way.
I'm just concerned that as a seldom used car, having something permanently live and drawing power, albeit not much, may not be the most sensible idea...

cheers

No idea I'm afraid, but what would happen if it wasn't permanently live?
Do you lose any settings?
If nothing major, then go for an ignition live, or consider fitting an isolation switch in line from the permanent live, so you can choose when to prevent it draining your battery.
