Hello from Devon

Proper introduction time, I bought my first Z 3 weeks ago, 56 plate Black Coupe Sport.

I would be fair to say I’m proper smitten, Landcruiser now has to live outside.

I looked at 3, it was the first one I looked at, highest Mileage of the lot at 105k but best colour, condition, history and price.

All I’ve done so far is pop in a half decent Dab head unit, got all my information from this place 👍

First proper job is remove the KW coilovers which I’ll be doing in a few weeks. I’ve gone for the bilstein B4, eibach combo and new top mounts all round. Also very pleased to discover that I can order parts direct from BMW online via the main website, this actually worked out £25 cheaper than eBay for the bits I needed, spring pads and front upper spring plates.

A few other things to sort in time, one being the alarms tendency to go off, temporarily sorted by double locking on the fob.

New tyres, currently on the new budgets it was sold with, so will enjoy wearing them out as quickly as possible!

Nice wheels. 8) The Land Cruiser looks proper sulking in the shadows there.

The bonnet sensor can cause the alarm to mis behave.

Welcome to Z ownership and the forum from NZ. Nice looking car, wheels suit it. I am sure you will have lots of fun with it and the forum is a great help if you need to do things to it. :D

Welcome. You need a bigger garage, the landcruiser is looking very hacked off...

Hi and welcome to the forum, and the exclusive Coupe club!

But your Landcruiser really doesn't look happy.

Just wondering why you plan to remove the coil-overs - I thought they were pretty sought after. :?

It handles exceptionally well and on smooth asphalt are fine, but real world, for me too uncomfortable on the roads around here.

I finally had it up on the ramps yesterday for a poke around and looks like the lollipop bushes have been changed to poly bushes.👍

The coil overs look to be in good condition, so will be offering them up for sale, once they are off.
