Hi, spent some time giving my e89 some tlc today-it was pretty dirty from pick up & rained on it the next day as well.
Basic wash & clay mitt session along with some chemical cleaning on the mucky tailpipes :P

I've always thought the cars lines look better without being festooned with unnecessary letters/numbers from the wing badges, so I removed them with some dental floss & sticky stuff remover

After

Much better imho

Looks great! What did you use on the tailpipes? Mine are horrendous and haven't got around to cleaning them yet ...

I used some top secret cleaner as used by London Underground on their signal boards
Not available to the public I'm afraid, I think it's similar to wheel cleaning spray

It's all very well Mrs Smartbear taking photo's while your grafting away, where's the essential cup of tea and chocolate hobnob required during such undertakings???

Looks great Rob

I prefer it without the badges.

You still on runflats?

Ash

Yes, it feels slightly softer than the si which makes the runflats bearable-doesn't seem to suffer from the dreaded tramlining either :o
