First Track Day With the Z

Spent the last 2 weeks excited about getting on track with the the Z. I've done loads of track days with previous cars but since buying the Z I seem to have been so busy that I just never had the time so couldn't wait for today.

Got up early checked the car over filled up with some super duper unleaded and headed off!!

Got up to Knockhill and it was a bit damp and cold but that was OK I could live with that. Get out and half way round my first lap the Fog descended! :headbang:

Total anti climax!!! Only got 1 more very slow lap and then the day was done! :cry:

That's bad luck...Look on the positive side, at least the session end due to weather not an off. I'm looking forward to a bit of spring sunshine and getting back on track too

I've booked on for the 4th March provisionally but not sure yet if that will work for me?

I'm pretty glad they called it if I'm honest, it's much more likely that the weather will be better for the next time anyway and like you say at least it wasn't due to an off.
 
I know how you feel, of all my track days last year, I was most looking forward to Watkins Glen (it was also the most expensive). First day got rained out (many accidents), and 2nd day was a half day due to the thick fog. Total bummer...
