First timer

For the first time in my, short, driving life, I have just had the back end step out on me.

Slightly damp, low speed turning off a roundabout, traction control fully on, accelerated off in
2nd and felt the back wobble, dash light up then was straight again. I have to say, as a first timer, even a very quick, low speed short step out like that, it all happens so quick. Gives me a lot more respect for the car and conditions, and the cleaning power of persil for the pants!

Check rear tyre make , tread & pressures as a bad combo of those 3 can easily make that happen & get the above 3 right & its unlikely to happen unless you provoke it

Conti's on the rear, pressures are at 38, checked yesterday, plenty of tread. Was a bit damp, like I was after, and sharpish corner. We live and learn, then get a taste for it lol

I'm disappointed if I don't get the back end out, just a bit, everytime I drive it! DSC on mine is permanently "half off" even in the wet - More fun!!

On a roundabout, it could have been a diesel splash from a lorry with a loose fuel cap.

It takes very little, especially on a rainy surface, to make a car lose contact.
