First time E89 owner

Hello all. First time Z4 owner picking up a 2009 35i on Friday. Had BMWs before (and currently already have an M140i) but this will be the first 2 seater. Any tips? Photos attached. It was the interior that sold it to me. Already made the controversial decision to go stubby!

Hi & Welcome

Stunning car, but you will have your work cut out keeping that interior clean :D

And a stubby !!!!!! :headbang:

Welcome
My previous Z had that same interior, I had no problem keeping it looking spotless but it wasn't used as a daily driver, I've still got the light beige interior on my current Z.

Thanks for the welcomes all. This car will not be getting heavy use at all. Prob less than 5k per year (plan to keep for two. Someone advised me no wet jeans in the car with that interior. We shall gloss over the question: why on earth are your jeans wet??๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Welcome to the forum - lovely looking Z4.

I don't know about wet jeans  but it's best to avoid wearing new jeans with an interior that colour, at least until they've been washed a few times! Using a leahter wipe every few weeks also helps IME.

With the right leather polish you should be able to keep that interior looking good. I am sure you will find suitable advice on the forum

Welcome

I donโ€™t know what name that style of wheel has but the are 19s! And after reading the forum I am now wooried about that. There is an invoice showing the previous owner had to fork out at BMW for a new wheel following a cracking incident!

Welcome.
Love the wheels, do you know what style they are?

they're the 296 style wheels. There's other 19" wheels such as the 326. They are all prone to cracking supposedly!
