First sports car!

Hey everyone!

After three years of ownership I'm trading in my VW Scirocco 170 TDI on Friday and upgrading to an sdrive28i.

As far as I'm aware it has the standard spec plus cruise control and sports seats but this could be wrong.

Anyway here's a quick pic from the dealers. (Hope it works)

Also, I was looking for a set of possibly BMW 18" wheels that would fit the car but I've been completely confused by all the different offsets etc so any advice on what styles of wheels fit the e89 would be really helpful.

Matt

Congratulations and welcome to the forum, like the way you've :fuelfire:

.....with the subject title as it's debated often on here, GT or Sports car and it is what you want it to be :D

Welcome & congrats

It seems that the number of Scottish Z4 owners on here is continuing to grow recently. :)

Thanks all!

I can't wait for Friday! Just need to clear out my car now, which has been neglected recently :headbang:

That's why I liked the car so much as imo it seems to be part sports car and part GT :)

I'm based between Dumfries and Glasgow, feels like I live on the M74!

Very nice Zed. 8) Welcome to the forum.

Interesting that the Sirocco is not classified by you as a sports car. (You are right of course)

Hi and welcome.

Thanks for pic - looks very nice. Yet another Zed north of the border. There must be so many by now you should have a "Scottish spotted" section!

Enjoy :driving:

Welcome to the forum and as Billy has said we have quite a few new members here in Scotland recently.

There may even be a meet in your neck of the woods in the next month or so

Enjoy the car (it looks great  ) but the next two days are going to be very long :(

Welcome to the forum.

Good looking Z4 - I'd keep the wheels it has. Less spokes means easier to clean IMHO!

But if you set on replacing them maybe this will help:- http://www.bmwforums.info/bmw-wheels-forum/333-bmw-wheel-hub-diameter-sizes-hub-centre-bore-sizes-wheel-et-offset-wheel-bolt-sizes.html

Hope the time until collection doesn't drag too much.
