Hello,

I recently wanted a sports car but I was working to a tight budget. I managed to find one that ticked all the boxes and didn’t break the bank.

I’ve added a link to a YouTube video I did.

Thank you for watching, please consider liking and subscribing to the channel of you would like to see more videos like this.

Welcome to the forum, I’m not sure I like the clickbait get my youtube views up approach though.
Car looks good, and video well done.
Consider making a Z4 Road comparison on your channel showing the actual difference between the 2.5i, si, 3.0...

Something I missed when buying my 2.5i at least :)

Welcome to the forum Ashley

I followed the link to your YouTube video and was pretty impressed with your presentation style and camerawork - a real breath of fresh air over the usual "Hey whatsup YouTube?" shouty dross! I liked your drone footage as well - so you've gained a new subscriber!

As you seem to be from the Thames Valley area I look forward to meeting you at a local gathering once things return a little closer to normal.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Your car looks great, and I liked your video.

Welcome. Great video. Whereabouts was it filmed I seem to recognise bits of the scenery as you are driving round

I certainly recognise bits of Reading!

Out of interest, I assume you used a suction mount for the body mounted shots. I'm looking to get one to add to my GoPro gear, so would be interested to know what you use and how well it copes with the Z4's "flame surface" body panels!

Hi. Nice car and those wheels look great.

Not sure if you already know, but as you've had the door card off best to check the membrane is stuck back in place properly otherwise they leak into the car. Common issue unfortunately.

Hello, thank you for the warm welcome everyone, I’m glad you all enjoyed the video!

To answer a few of the questions, I’m based in Reading so these roads are heading out South towards Mortimer and surrounding areas.

I used a suction mount you can buy for around £10 online. It does the job but only if the paint work is clean! I also didn’t leave it on there for extended periods of time, nor did I go very fast as I was worried it might come off.

I actually changed the membrane on the door as the old one was all torn. Managed to get one for £15.

Jeda I’m with you on the click bait, it made me die a little inside when I used it but it’s so hard to grow views without them. Hopefully the video that followed shows that I like making videos for people to enjoy rather than trying to be the next big thing on YouTube.

I’ve started making some other helpful maintenance videos and will do a similar video to this one when the weather improves and the lockdown is lifted.

Stay safe everyone!

Love the Z and the video I should know those roads you are on as my daughter earns her living from car video's (Car Guru) and lived in Beech Hill and as a result we used to travel there a lot. When visiting her these days I pass a covered Z4 in silver and another which is in a drive with it's headlamps missing because she lives with her twins in Reading but usually we are driving our boring Mondeo!

They are fantastic roads and not far from where I live, can’t wait for some better weather to have the roof down more! I’ve been tinkering away getting some maintenance done on it so it’s all ready for the Summer.

I’ve seen the Car Gurus videos before when my wife was buying her car. They are very helpful!
