First roadtrip in the Z

Thinking of using the roadster instead of the Discovery for our easter weekend round trip. Is there anything specific one should be aware of before attempting a 800km roundtrip in one of these?

Just remember to lower the roof before you set off 8)

Full tank of fuel, check tyre pressures, oil level, coolant etc. These are things I do regularly anyway, but its wise to check again prior to a long trip.

I find the following checklist, adapted appropriately for destination / distance works for me every time :

"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
