First Propper Run

Well this weekend had a great mix of travelling. I did around 800 miles on the motorway between Friday and Saturday then on Sunday with the roads dry took the opportunity to give the car a good run up through the winding roads of North Perthshire.

I can tell you that on the motorway journey I could not have felt like I was in a better place, The car just ate up the miles without hesitation. I loved it!

Then with the sun out yesterday it was time to unleash the car on some of my favourite roads  After a fairly cautious start getting to understand how the car feels through the bends and how it brakes I set about pushing it a bit and I discovered that the traction control was really kicking in early .... well, what I though was early!

I soon saw to that by turning it off only to discover the reason it is so quick to come on! My Z really does like to wag its tail a bit and although it is definately not as quick point to point as the last car it is easily as much fun!

I think I may have fallen in love with my Z this weekend  It just happens that it's for a different reason than I thought it would be. What a great weekend!

I do however think I'll be getting quite to know my local tyre centre quite well! :P
