First proper clean :D

Decided to have the day off today and give my car a proper clean. Took about 5 hours!

What I did (not sure if right but results are good)

- Jet wash (I bought one from Homebase which works really well, going to save me money in the long run instead of paying £10 each time to take it to the right place)
- Shampood it
- Jet wash again
- Let it dry
- Detailing clay all over (took ages)
- Waxed it

Don't have any before pics sorry. I did have ScratchX as well, whatever I did with it the results were nill. Wouldn't recommend it unless I'm doing it wrong.

Detailing clay is great, highly recommend it. Same for the wax.









Close up in some spots are some black specs/spots that just won't come out. Was too tired to properly try and clay them off, I might give it another go another day.

Looking good did you polish the car before you waxed it ? Its the polish that will make it shine and then wax to seal it afterwards

Did you get the seats all heated working etc hope you're happy with them?

Also echo the question above, hope you polished before waxing? The results would be far better.

Doh, no polish applied! Still happy with results though, next time I'll be sure to polish it.

Seats are still working a charm Even have them on nowadays, still nice!

I'm really not a fan of the colour, I think I'm going to get it resprayed just before summer properly hits. Then it will be the car of my dreams

I know it's not popular on here, but I'd love it to be satin black. Haven't seen any for sale that colour! Looked at wraps but maintainance looks a bit difficult. Plastidip is an option though

Great job -spray tar remover/similar should get the black spots off

Nice work! Did the same just day ago. First ag waxing shampoo. Then ag red wax and after that gold high gloss. Did the polishing with 20 euro polishing machine, and could not be happier about the result! Awesome. Sorry cannot attach any pics
