First problem !

Had my car a little over a week and this morning the battery was dead !

Luckily i had other transport to get to work and picked up a Bosch battery on the way home from work from Eurocarparts.

I thought i might have problems fitting it after reading previous posts but connected a trickle charger under the bonnet and swapped over the battery, everything came back as normal, had to reset the clock but thats it.

Lucky escape... just topped mine up with ionised water as had started to tun over slowly from reduced winter use, seems to be all better now.
 
Good idea with the trickle charger :thumbsup:

It's been a murderous winter for batteries, despite being an original 9 year old battery the Zed's been OK on a Ctek conditioner, but the batt in the family motor went down and had to be replaced this morning :( How tough must it be on batteries in a properly cold country?
