First Post, Washer Jet Problem

Hi there, new member here...

Bought a Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe (love it to bits)

I have a problem with the NS headlight washer jet when I picked the car up the washer tank was empty. Filled it up at the garage and everything seemed to be fine came down the next day and there was no water coming through?

Popped the bonnet and noticed that the tank (that I filled last night ) was empty.

I filled it with water again and watched to see where it was leaking, the NS front arch liner was soaked and the trickle began! So I removed the covers on the arch and did some nosing...the leak is coming from the actual unit its self and not the pipework leading to it (gutted) I think the plastic may have a split in it!

I need to get a new one so a few questions...

How much are they?
Do I need to remove the bumper to fit?
Do I need a new cap for the external part?

Sounds like the same problem I have. I think the problem is the headlight washer. Fill it up, then use it, if it is the same problem I had then you will see the remaining water pouring out below the divers side headlight washer.

I unplugged the feed to the headlight washers and plugged it up, it's been fine ever since albeit without headlight washers (which are useless anyway)

I bought private, so have no warrenty. Car is a december 2006 build. BMW will tell me to bugger off!
