Hello Y'All ....
So the all inclusive warranty expired in May ..
And try as I could, I didn't make my last free oil change.
Just didn't put on enough miles to count down the oil service to 0.
So I was off to the dealer for an oil change ..
Looking forward to seeing that Oil reminder back to 25000 kms ..
Discussed with my SA any upcoming service as I expected something at 50000 kms ..
He printed off a list of stuff costing $750 ...
Including a new filtre in the brake system ???
Ill get around to that appointment after I return from visiting London and all those complimentary pints from my Z4 Forum friends ..
So after waiting and hour and quaffing down some free BMW Cookies and Coffee ...
Oil change is done and I jump back into my Zed ..
Ignition On ...
Dash Lights up !
Now I have "25000 Inspection" shining back at me.
Bastard Tech must have illuminated that just in case I might ignore the SA's quote.
I do have 3 years left on an extended warranty ..
So Im not about to ignore anything that might jeopardize that ..
How many different reminder messages do they have in that dash board computer chip ?
I would love to just see how much is left before my next oil change.
