Good evening everyone,

After two years ownership of an e46 318CI i have made the move to an e85 Z4 2.5i roadster - to say i love it would be an understatement!!

I found a lovely lookng example - Grey with Black leather which had everythng i was after, the only downsde was it was the other sde of the county in newquay

So last week me and a friend took the 7 boring hour journey from Harrogate down to pick her up, needless to say the drive home in the Z was fantastic and a great way to get to grips with the car, which i must say is a completely different animal to my coupe!!

Any way heres some pictures from the auto trader advert (I'll take some propper ones soon) 8)

I've not really thought of any plans as yet, although i would like to be able to watch TV while on the go and open and close the roof with the remote...

So, what do you guys think?

I'm also a member on e46zone and from Harrogate, North Yorkshire if there's anyone on here thats local :)

A long drive home, that's how i brought my first Z home a few weeks back after doing some serious checking it out... No better way to get acquainted...

Happy days fella, hope you can take all the staring the car attracts... It's a bit off putting but hey ho, not everything in life's easy...

Cheers everyone!! :D

I've noticed a lot more attention compared to my e46. The only downsides are that idiots always seem to want to race me and no one lets me out of junctions anymore  haha! it's all worth it though, especially in this weather, the car is fantastic!

I fitted an OEM stubby yesterday. Love the looks compared to the orgnal sky-scraper one although only rado 1 is in good qualty and all other stations are pap! They dont take two minutes to change so i guess its not a big deal.

I've had mixed reviews on the alloys so far. I really like them so i gues that's all that counts. I dont even know what style they are though to be honest  any ideas?

After a quick look round the forum i can see there are some STUNNING cars on here

I'm presuming you are male, Sam cause I don't have any problem at all at junctions as for racing the idiots tend to just try cruise alongside.

From one newbie to another

Welcome

LEARN TO PLAY AT THE LIGHTs... a little rev... a slight roll forward... The grip of the wheel ...That glance of am gonna burn ya... and as the lights change and the muppet floors it, just take off really slowly & do the penguin, 'just smile & wave...', you'll find you'll amuse others watching just as much...
