Hi tedster
Welcome and great looking car ... can I ask you where & how much the 108 refurb cost? Mine have some corrosion on the inner part (guess where you painted them black) and some white feathery water marks on the rims ... I'll try and post some pictures this weekend. They look OK from a distance, but if it's relatively cheap I might get them sorted out.
Thanks

the alloys were completley stripped down to bare metal obviously they were taken apart aswell (split rim design) the spokes are a slightly different shade of silver to the outer rim that is hard to tell off the picture, i wish id of had them more polished finished on the outer rim, and the gloss black finish is inside the wheel behind the spokes total cost was nearly 500 pounds which seems expensive but it was well worth it the insides are now very easy to clean, it was done by a company in stoke on trent called top marques very good service they will do anything you want in various finshes.

Very nice love what you have done with the wheels works great on the black car  regarding the roundels did they all fit OK as i know all the ones i have seen are to big for the front as its only 70mm how was the quality and do you mind if i ask where you got them from.

Cheers Gaz

Dammit! I've just had my 108's refurbed. Why on earth didnt i think of getting the insides blacked-out???? :headbang:
That looks awesome, as does the entire car, it's just the same as mine, 'cept for being 1000cc's more powerful :)
I'm considering going the 'black roundel' route now too. It looks like you've painted the brakes up too yeah?
Thanks for this post mate! Inspiring

gaza the roundels took a bit of sorting out because i couldnt find any one to sell a set for a z4 so i got a set for an e46 which included an 82mm for the back and a 73mm for the front it fits ok even though its 3mm bigger though you do have to use 3m adhesive tape the set also comes with a 45mm for the steering wheel for the side reapeaters i ordered two 82mm roundels for a e36 cut the lugs off them and 3m taped them to the indicators old ones are easy to remove just be patient and carefull. I got all the roundels from ebay the quality is very good as i was a bit unsure about this before i ordered them but they are fine. Ignitor ive painted the calipers matt black but will redo them soon gloss black now ive gone down the black out road with the car where abouts in cheshire are you i work in crewe and live in newcastle under lyme.

I've only owned my zed since October, and have only just put the 108's on it in the last couple of months, but i'm looking forward to spending the summer putting some nice finishing touches to it as you have. I'm loving the 'none more black' approach
I'm in Holmes Chapel, just down't road from you, as is another member of this board Lotus1, who generously donated his 108's to me when he bought some AC Schnitzers for his 3.0.
I work in Wilmslow, so my Z4 barely causes a glance when alongside the numerous Ferraris and Astons I share the road with everyday
