+1, just coming upto 5000 miles, but I'll not use the free service before I sell the car :)

Whoever you sell it to will be one lucky person! Your mileage is catching up with mine. Even ksher has overtaken me.

My car is now almost 9 months old with 6,700 miles on the clock. :)

You lot should get out and drive a lot more :poke:

After V-Power reached £1.38 per litre, I only use "Sport" mode for overtaking :D . Fuel costs me £10 a day.

Mines jus turned a year and has 10k miles, does it need a service or just wait for service indicator to come on :?

I'd wait. Mine had about 1,500 miles to go till the computer said it needed servicing. 2 years is up in April, but decided to have it done now. Mine has 18,700 miles on it.

Don't know what they did with the air-con, but it smells like a woman's boudoir in the car now!! :P

What mileage does yours say (the mileage that comes up when you first turn the ignition on) until service?

Cant say as car in wifes work underground car park as she is gallivanting doon in Surrey or Chesire at some hotel this week
I had the choice of dropping her at glasgow airport and didnt as I would need to get her in rush hour traffic tomorrow in Bothwell Street, raging now as today was a cracker for a wee run with roof down :driving: :headbang:

lol, I'm putting in £80+ a week using 95 RON @ £1.269 per litre and averaging 500 miles or so

When turned on it says 12,000 miles, we have done 10,600 that mean 1,400 till service?

Still around £1.30 a litre here. £1.36 for Super unleaded!!

£1.29 a litre where I am. I put 3/4 of a tank in today and it was £41. Does the Zed have a 55 litre fuel tank?

I think if you are getting 500 miles from a tank you must be driving it as efficiently as possible and mainly extra-urban? :?

No the most I have ever had as an indicated range was 467 miles as per the photo

I just did a quick calculation:

55 litres / 12.1 gallon tank

For the 23i - Combined: 33.2 mpg so 401 miles per tank.

If you are doing more extra-urban files it will obviously be higher.

Extra Urban: 45.6 mpg so 551 miles per tank

Good going though! :D

My car does 29/30 mpg in winter, and 31/32 mpg in summer. The low fuel warning light always come up at around 280/290 miles after a fuel was fully filled.

sars, those figures do look pretty impressive (about half a tank of gas and 237 miles till empty).

Here's a pic of mine from this morning:

miles_till_empty.jpg

So that's about 400 miles on a fill and 33 mpg, if that's town driving it's very good

Ksher, maybe you should take off those lead boots and put slippers on :D

Seriously when I took that photo, I had zeroed the milometer at fill up in Bristol on Monday, used the car to commute the 6 miles to work everyday and got to Sainsbury in Doncaster and took the photo. I consistently get over 400 miles from a tank of 95 Ron.

I use Shell V-Power all the times, and can only average 30 mpg a tank. During a 24-mile B-Road journey, no more than 1 mile (max. 10 minutes) is bumper-to-bumper traffic. I don't understand how town driving can still achieve 33 mpg.
