First MOT today

Must admit I wasn't looking forward to taking my car in for this.

I'm never happy giving my cars to garages, even main dealers but of course we have no choice.
So I decided on a place just across from my work,he seems a good guy etc

I needn't have worried,he was very careful and said it was a pleasure to work on such a clean car.
It's only done 8800 miles at it's third birthday but even so the guy said it's like new underneath with nothing amiss, even tyre wear being even.

So I'm happy now.
I don't really care much what others think, bad or good, but it's nice when someone appreciates a well cared for possession, whatever it may be.

I even got a thumbs up on the colour! :)

i hate mot time, i really do, still i always take mine to the dealer and sit watching every single move they do @ the watching section.... they usually never put one single foot wrong :-) lol

I take mine to a little private garage, watch them while they MOT it. Last time he joked that he just needed to take it for a 'test run' . It's nice when it gets a clean bill of health, not failed on anything so far :) hope that keeps up for number 3 in June!

Mine is booked in to the dealers tomorrow for it's MOT (Harry Fairbairn Glasgow). Really can't fault these guys at all but decided to go with them for MOT as my AUC warranty runs out at the end of this month which means it should be theoretically easier to get things sorted.

8800 miles - wow thats very low

The car got off lightly. I came close to buying that car (before Milu bought it) and if I had it would be showing about 43k miles by now. Ended up buying one with 6000 miles on it - which is now at 49,*** :)

Mine's just had it's 5th birthday & is on 55k :driving:

Wish it was an 8k miler but tbh it drives exactly the same as it always has... brilliantly 8)
