First mod - black grill

Hi, just thought I'd get a couple of pictures up of my first mod...a week into having the Z. It's simply 5 layers of plastidip, with no glossifyer so a matt black finish.

Next mod is scotchlok onto rear lights to get a full circle while braking! 8)
 
Looks like you did the slats as well.

Did mine last weekend, just the chrome though. Be interesting to see how well it holds up.

Lets us know how they hold up, interested to see if this is the way to go or just to wrap them to avoid chips and peeling.

Wrapping works well did that on my last Z4, also cheaper but more work.
 
did my full circle brakelights yesterday... so 3rd mod to come. Will have to get rid of the orange hockey sticks soon :s

Getting rid of the orange is a mod well worth doing. So rewarding, and takes 5 years off the age of the car :thumbsup:
