My car has been running a little rough on the cold mornings, and after about a mile, as the car warmed up, no more spluttering....

But this morning my engine management light came on and I took it to the dealer this afternoon for them to take a look at.

Not sure what it might be but I will keep you posted.

I would suspect that the air inlet is congested with Zaino and when the car warms up, it melts :poke:

Is that to much polishing and not enough driving :D

Good luck, hope it gets sorted quickly such that you can clean it again at the weekend

It gets driven plenty!!! Cotswold meet this week, and you're right, it's getting a big detail before during and after the meet!!

I really enjoy doing it...find it very relaxing and very rewarding....on a lovely summers day, you will often see me sticking my hand out of the car and feeling/molesting my paint as I drive 8)

Isn't there some kind of register you get put on if you get caught doing that in public

Please don't report me, I promise I won't stroke again in public!!

The feeling of silky smooth paint ...ok I'll stop!!

I'll go with injectors or hpfp, as they're both issues on the N54.. The dealer should sort both fairly quickly if it is that..

What's hpfp? Just called the dealer for an update and awaiting their call.....

Cool thanks. The car runs perfectly fine when it's warmed up. Even with the engine light on yesterday it still went fine.....

I've got Cotswold meet this weekend, hoping it is all sorted for that......

Got I back yesterday.....and they rest it, and they said no error codes came up, and they checked it from cold and it runs fine, and tried it this morning at 3C, and it ran smoothly.....

Only thing, they said one of my bulbs at the front had gone and they went to look at it, and it's a tipped ice white bulb....I denied any knowledge, they replaced it with a standard one, and now I have one white halo ring and one amber one!!! Doh!!

Well they can't exactly go mad about a bulb, if they did I'd have gone mad back at them. So what you're saying about the running problems is that its your bad driving really ;) lol

Yeah yeah....

Must have been something wrong they came across, as it feels fine now. Still a great car and feels great after driving a MinI Cooper S for 3 days!!
