Well not too long, only went as far as Moreton in the Marsh with the wife and then back through Stratford upon Avon then home to Rugby, top down sun was out and the car was awesome plenty of power when needed with a 3.0l Auto then when i got home cleaned the car again, be out again tomorrow if the suns out

Will i get bored of this car don't think so in these times of lock down

1.7 Are there restrictions on how far I can travel for my exercise or outdoor activity?
No. You can travel to outdoor open space irrespective of distance. You shouldn’t travel with someone from outside your household unless you can practise social distancing - for example by cycling. Leaving your home - the place you live - to stay at another home is not allowed.

RAC Advice

There are now no restrictions on how far you can travel with your household group to outdoor space in England for exercise or recreation. But any round trip should be completed within a day, and you must practice social distancing when outside.

Enjoy nothing like a straight six enough power and a great feeling especially with hood down and the sun shining. I remember my first drive in the 3.0i

I used to love a blast up Fish Hill & a cream tea in Morten-in-marsh

Correct😀

Good to see you are enjoying the car.... Driving a car won't get you the virus..
Allowing illegal immigrants to cross the channel and get ferried in by the border force without control... Allowing the Underground service in London to operate .. Allowing aircraft to land from China/Italy etc during the outbreak These events are being tolerated by the government... So don't feel menaced by others - get out and enjoy life but keep a 'social distance'...

I had to go out yesterday to maintain my step-daughter's swimming school pool. Took the Z with the roof down.
Met a group of cyclists on a narrow road, obviously not all one family and all tightly packed together. As they went past, one of them commented that it was irresponsible of me to have the roof down!!!!!!!!!!!
FFS!

Good for you OP, as you point out there’s nothing against government advice involved in your drive. We’ll definitely be taking the paddle boards to the coast in the Zed over the weekend!

And, as for groups of cyclists, unless men in Lycra are living in family groups now, they have been taking the mick since the start of lockdown round our way....

It's amazing the number of dirty looks one gets when you drive the Z4 with the roof folded. I think they must believe the virus is carried on the wind? The single drivers wearing face masks whilst on their own are the most confused....

Oh bloody hell, dont get me started on cream teas, now I have to go out especially to have one, I love them. Are you cream or jam first? I live in Devon (despite being a yorkshireman) so make sure you get it right.....

Yep cyclisys are genrally twa_s especially the lycra clad, self righteous as_holes we get jamming up the roads on Dartmoor and the South hams. They have been gathering and cycling throughout the lockdown, literally dozens of them....

The virus CAN be carried in the wind
This was covered by the professor of epidemiology during a gov brief. Basically its correct but infection from a distance of 2m or more is highly unlikely, hence social distancing.
They also covered joggers and cyclists exercising together, basically you dont want to be anywhere else but the front in that case..

Jam first, anything else is so wrong.
