First drive in the Zed for a month!

Well as some of you may know I've been residing in a hospital bed for 25 nights and prior to that my wife drove me back from Florence in our Zed.

I'm proud to say that today I've managed to contort myself into the drivers seat and get the roof down for a fantastic drive along the B6047 from Melton Mowbray to Market Harborough and back with a lovely Waitrose lunch stop in the middle!

It felt so good to be back behind the wheel and I had forgotten just how brilliant our straight sixes sound at full chat with the roof down. That coupled with the fantastic weather (25c today) and I've had a great day.

Thankfully I remembered what each pedal did :rofl:
 
That straight six is a fine tonic indeed. Good to hear your getting back up to speed. :thumbsup:
 
Thanks everyone, its been quite a month and pretty testing for both of us physically and emotionally.

Still, on the mend now and already thinking about our next trip.
