First detail of the year.

Well the nice weather and me being off work and free finally coincided for the first time this year. I was post night shift but thought I would make the most of the sun and detail the car.

My regime was as follows;

Rinse
Bilberry wheel cleaner
Dodo Juice Sour Power to wash with lambs wool mitt.
Stoner tarminator to remove tar deposits and insect debris from the Moffat run!
Rinse and microfibre cloth dry.
Meguairs clay bar with Dodo Juice Born to Dry quick detailer.
Rinse and dry again.
Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
Finnish Kare 1000 sealant.
Poorboys wheel sealant.
Carlack window cleaner and sealant.
Autoglym bumper care to rubber seals/plastic.
Autoglym tyre dressing.

Here is the finished product (iPhone photos only unfortunately).

Still need to clean the interior which I'll save for the weekend. I was also planning on fitting my new rear wheel spacers but don't have any copper grease to help ease them on (and off if I don't like them!)

On a positive it looks great, a job well done mate.. However on a negative point, you have put me to shame, I now realise I need to go and do mine now

Cheers. Probably about £150 including microfibres/mitts etc. it was a case of trial and error over the course of a few months.

Scchhwaaaaaeeeeeett!

Good work, that slippery surface must improve performance...? :P

Oh, very well done Jamie

Are those shiny new carbon badges I spy on your car ? How are you liking them, especially the bonnet one ?

I've had black and white for a while now, it was just the old bonnet badge I was never happy with! The new Bonnet one is smaller than I recall but I looked out my original OEM and it's the same size. My side repeater badges are looking a bit tatty so think I might order a new set of them.

Even more good news, when you go to clean the engine compartment, you have room to climb in to get to those really hard to reach bits. :poke:

And OI!!! where is the list you promised me :(
