Took the Zed out for a spin down to Lake Ontario to celebrate the first day of Spring.
Sorry to hear Spring Weather has skipped the British Isles.
Lookin' good over here in Whitby, Ontario Canada.

Looking out to the entrance of Whitby Harbour. Toronto is on the horizon

Our Welcome Centre. Great place to feast on Nandos Chicken. The flags warn the Americans that they are lost.

Looking east towards Camp X. It was a famous spy training school during WW2. It was also the location of Hydra, a communications facility that sent radio information overseas .

Another view of the entrance to Whitby Harbour. A nice spot ti fish for salmon and Lake Trout.

What's that glare on the windshield and bonnet ?

Winter Zed with Hard Top and Snow Rims. I hope to remove all by the weekend.

That is about as far away from the original Whitby as you can imagine.

Sunny below London though, so that 's alright!

Hope you have heated seats when you get the top off! I'm over in Canada on a work assignment in Ottawa at the moment - was about -7c this morning. Heading to Toronto next week.

Not to worry about hard tops or heated seats.
I do have heated seats so I understand how amazing that option is.
The pics are of my 'winter set up" which in all honesty, I rarely take the Zed out in the off season.
I never take it out in slush and salt !
But with Spring arriving, I'm in the process of taking off the hard top.
I have 2 sets of summer rims. (That just happened somehow)
One is shod with the stock Bridgestone Runflats which I use for touring out of town.
The other is a set of 108's shod with Michelin PSS that I use the rest of the time.

Lovely scenery in your part of the world OP.

I think Spring may have come to the UK now - after the snow at the weekend it was 12.5 degrees C and sunny in the South East today. I'm hoping that continues!

Your car looks great too - I don't think I've seen a white E85 before. And your winter rims look really good - are they a BMW wheel?

Thanks for the compliments Mr. Tidy.
Good news Spring has finally arrived in Great Britain.
Actually temps over here are a couple of degrees below normal.
Snowfall is anyone's guess, what with all the hot air being generated south of the border.

I got the winter rims via Tire Rack, which is a large internet dealer in the USA. Delivery to my doorstep in 3 days, which is impossible but they did it. These rims are supplied by a company called Moda and this model is Moda 14. My other 2 sets are BMW 241's which the Zed came with and 108's which I got last year.

Great Pics, the wife has relations in Beamsville who own a large winery, which we have visited several times. (Malivoire Winery). Love touring all the estates for tastings. 48 day aged Ribeye in the CNN Tower restaurant is something else. Living out there you are a very lucky man indeed

Great pics of spring Bumpy. Some great wheel choices too. 8)

Looks like a Centurion. If So how did that get there?

I am near Ottawa as well.

When do you guys put your car on the road?

Are you members of the Ottawa BMW club?
I'm only here on a contract for a few weeks. Me and my Z4 live in the UK. The weather has been pretty awful in Ottawa - not sure I would be wiling to get it out the garage yet if it lived here! I think I've only seen one Z4 on the road in my 6 weeks here. I guess there are some great roads to drive over in Gatineau?

Played 18 holes today, got a little wind and sun burn. 14C . Spring is a bit late here on the island. But we can usually drive the zed at least 11 months a year, . :D :D
