Wanted to give this thread a little bump as, like me, many other may not have seen what has proved to be a really insightful and informative record of what looks like a fantastic trip and I've picked up many decent road tips and villages etc for out own trip this summer. Nice one!

Dave's roadtrips were legend and so well documented. I expect he's doing the same in the M3 these days.
