Thanks I’ll take a lookRally said:Try Meguiars 105 Ultra Cut Compound or a detailer not sure I've seen finger prints last that long before.
They were there when I bought it. It’s not just the drivers door although that is the worst. It’s also on the passenger door and the boot.wonkydonkey said:Were they on the car when you bought it? Or did they appear afterwards? I ask because the door might've been painted and they might be underneath the clearcoat. If that's the case - you won't get rid of them without sanding through the clearcoat.
Thanks. I think I’ll find a detailer. Does anyone know a good one in Cheshire?Thrustyjust said:Recently had a dent taken out the drivers door of our Skoda and the guy left all his hand prints all over it . Being a black car , like the Zed and was cooking hot, they wouldnt wash out or any other forms of spray detail sprays or chemicals would move it. I have had to machine it out with a medium compound cut and refine it down. Personally T cut is 'very' aggressive and using a bit of cloth and T cut could marr other parts of the surrounding areas. I would find a detailer, if that's not your thing and let him look at what is best to remove the marks.![]()
