Hello All

I am looking at replacing my rear springs as i am sure the drivers side one has broken, could you tell me the best and easiest way to find out which ones i have ?... i am 99% sure i have the lowered springs on my car however i would like to find out in advance so i can but them and get my mate to swap them at his garage...

thanks in advance

Your 3.0i should have sports suspension, which means lower and stiffer.

There's a few links to parts search sites, in the sticky in the Problems section of the forum, you should be able to find the parts numbers there.

Try another dealer first though, get them to email BMW for a check on warranty/goodwill gestures for the rear suspension on a Z4, they should report back that it's a free replacement. The only thing that would count against you that I can think of is if your car has very high milage, mine was fine at 45k though.
