Finding CD Changer Connections & if Digital or Analogue DSP

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at getting a USA-Spec iPod interface and there are two options, one for DSP and one for without. I have a DSP system but apparently, the issue is whether it's digital or analog. If it's analog I can get the non-dsp version, if it's digital I need to DSP version.

Car is a 2004 BMW Z4 3.0i

I've attached some pictures, one of which I think might be a digital coax connector but i'm not sure. I'm also having trouble finding the second connector.

Any help would be appreciated.

not sure why the coax cable is near your Bluetooth?

Have a look on your amp and see if you have a coax cable plugged into the top of it.
if you have the coax cable present on the amp (or have a coax socket), I believe it's digital DSP.

TBH, I'm not 100% sure how to check on a non-cd changer equipt car. Normally you'd pull out the head unit and see if the cd changer wires were present - if they were, it's analogue. if they weren't , it's digital...
