Finding Auto trader expired ads

Is it possible to find an expired ad on auto trader? I'm looking for an ad end of November to see what was advertised about the car I purchased from Sytner. Experiencing bit of a headache regarding warranty... ad said 12 months...... they're saying 6 and your leaky roof isn't covered after finding it after less than 200 miles of use.

I'd contact them directly. Iirc I did this a few years back after buying a bike. I always screenshot any ads now on potential purchases and save them.

Long shot, but have you tried the wayback machine?

Contact autotrader directly and they should be able to send you a copy of the advert.

Thanks

Exactly what I said in the first reply.

True... Sussed that out as soon as I replied... I initially thought you meant contact Sytner.
Thanks for your trustworthy reply.

Just in case anyone else has this issue, I suggest downloading any advert (beyond a screenshot) that you intend on following through on. I had an issue with a dealer that pulled some things I knew were illegal. I reached out to AutoTrader to request a copy of the advert. They denied my request (see below). Luckily, I found I did save a screenshot of the original ad when I shared it with my partner. It was just barely enough to file a formal complaint with my state's Consumer Protection Division. About 6 months later I got a check in the mail and an apology letter. About a year after that that same dealer lost their license.

Below is the response I got from AutoTrader's 'Corporate Affairs Team'. Note the language they used... in response to my email just asking for a copy of an archived ad for a vehicle. I provided the dealership's name along with the car's VIN# that was listed on the ad. :

Hello,

I don’t think the UK Autotrader (Autotrader Group) being talked about here is the same company (or corporate group) as the US one (Cox Automotive group) so their policies/systems are unlikely to be the same either.
