Hi guys I am a newbie, as I described on this forum months ago, I did go to uk and fell in love with a 30Msport highline edition in white and red combination, today, the car arrived in Malta!!! At last! Its full of dirt and so I will post photos only when its fully cleaned!

Just curious to know something about the passenger seat...Mine has like two square iron handles that are clearly visible to the eye (not exactly pleasing to the eye). They are exactly between the back part of the seat and the seating part of the seat, one on one side, one on the other. The driver seat has none of these. Can somebody explain???

They say its a woman's world out there, for once rumours were right, you were the first to reply! ;) Thanks, it looked strange to me...I also tried two dvds but although the audio did work the video itself did not appear on the screen. I was not running the car, the car was stationary...

Have you imported your car? It may be the region setting on the car is wrong? Like in DVD players. I may be talking a load of rubbish there though!
 
Hahaha! Yeah I imported the car from Uk to Malta, both countries are in the European Union, no? :| Still, it could be you are right, maybe yes, its something about the region...

It's probably worth looking into to see if its that.
To be honest, I never once watched a DVD on mine in 2 years. I tried it when I got it just to see if it worked and that was the only time.
 
Are you sure it wasn't in gear? The moment you put the car in gear it will blank the screen. Was anything at all on the display?
 
Nice one Geezah! Carol, I am not planning to watch a dvd either but a dvd concert of say U2, would be nice whilst driving around! Maniac yes, I am sure it was not on gear, the car's engine was not running either, I tried the 2 dvds but although the audio would work, no visual video was on the screen except a sentence saying: "For safety reason the video cannot play whilst driving", or something similar to this....
 
I can't say then... but that message only comes up when the car thinks it can be moved. The moment I take off my handbrake or put the car in Drive the screen goes black and shows that message. Read your manual its probably in there.
 
Hi Maniac and people, just to let you know that today I tried the dvd again and it worked perfectly, I guess yesterday I was doing something wrong for sure. Thanks again for the advice!

I think its either, or. My dvd works if in drive but handbrake on, or no handbrake but in park.
