Finally Saying Hi From Near Leicester

I've had my car nearly a year and I've finally got round to posting.

It's a 2003 3.0i in Sterling Grey that I bought off a forum member. It's got Anthracite CSL wheels and an interior to die for! There's not another Z4 that I'd swap it for.

I just wish it would make a bit more noise, although I drive nearly 100 miles a day.

I live in Coalville and I see a fair few Z4s round here but no one seems to wave back and I just end up looking mental.

Regarding the noise (or lack of it) I'm not sure if 03 Zeds have a sound generator? If so you can mod it quite easily. I'm sure someone will be a long to tell us if that's an option.

My 3.0i has sound generator. Have taken mine out and sounds great inside cabin

I'm pretty sure it's had the sound gen mod done already because it sounds pretty good with the roof up but when it's doown it's just so quiet. I keep getting tempted by the backbox delete but I spend so much time on the motorway, I don't wanna get annoyed by massive droning.

I would love to go to that meet but it's my nephews christening that day.

So make sure you take lots of pics to make me jealous!
 
Hi, lovely looking zed -- especially that interior - welcome. :thumbsup:

The sound gen mod is specifically to increase cabin sound - so if it's quiet with the roof up it may not have been done? It's a fairly simple check & modification.

If I'm not mistaken that is Mr lozzer's old car - he did a great job with it, you've a lovely car there.
