FINALLY...PICS!! 3 months later than hoped.

So here she is in all her finery, sporting a few mods... Done the rear lights (look a bit purply in this picture but they're not in real life), got my iPhone all linked up for charging and the AUX cable, the little button shows my front parking sensors and have done the CDV and Sound Generator too. All this weekend in a father/son modding marathon!

And I needed a decent day to take pictures which was also provided.

Yes, bit of carbon fibre vinyl was necessary to hide the partial butchery of the arm rest... It works well though, very happy.

Parking sensors are by Parking Dynamics - they're spot on because you can turn them off. If they were on all the time it would be like driving R2D2 but in tight spots and whilst getting used to a 75ft long bonnet it's been very useful having.

Merc is my Dad's, it's actually a 350 but AMG alloys and exhaust - I think he said something about my Mum and a compromise?!? Luckily my missus is still just excited about going fast with the roof down - and I hide bank statements like a pro.
 
Hey, that's actually a great idea if you ever need to add some connectivity to the zed... just use the cupholder! Hmm, insert USB power supply, add a proclip to the vent above, nice and unobtrusive... :thumbsup:
 
I'm guessing you have driven the SLK, I nearly bought one. To cut a long story short the salesman stuffed me around on a Black SLK 350, so I went and drove the Z4.

He did me a favour, it drove a lot better, the interior finish is better, glad I didn't by the Merc.

Your thoughts on the comparison ?
