After 16 years it's time to refresh the brakes! 😂😂

I'm only looking for road use, so assume OEM is the way to go?

I'm sure there are lots of kits out there. Personally I have never had any major issues with the OEM set up. :driving:

Would be nice to cut down on the dust though...

Looking on ECP there seem to be a few choices for pads, are ATE the best on there? And do I have to add wear sensors to both separately?

Less dust usually means more wear to your discs. Not that I'm one to talk I'm on my third set of OEM Disks. :D

Textar E-pads for the WIN.
Been using them for years. Dust is minimal and performance is tip top.

Any squeaking? Good from cold?
They're perfect for my style of driving which admittedly isn't overly aggressive or spirtited, but on the few occasions I had to brake sharp a few times they're fine. Very progressive with good bite and they last forever.
Can imagine you could probably also track them without issue.

Is this just pads?

I like to stick with the OEM stuff the 3rd parties tend to be about the same price so would stick to OEM although the surface rust when washing annoys me.

Where are people getting the Textar E pads from?

I am seeing Textar standard on ECP/Carparts4less (although both show them as currently unavailable), but not the E pad.

Oh, and where can you get Textar from for the rears? Halfords (again only showing standard not the E ceramic, unless that has become their standard) only has fronts.
