I agree totally with this. Nothing worse than spending what you think you should , then being underwhelmed because it wasn't what you really wanted. If you really want an E89 there are ways, or wait a while. Don't get an E85 just to get a Z4.

Thing to remember is these are a different type of car - e85 more point and squirt a proper sports car then while the e89 is more of a GT car, more useable everyday IMHO - both are great but the e89 is just more user friendly if you want to do a road trip
