Hi everybody, been member of here a while and on the look out for the perfect Z4 and finally found it after nearly 10months of looking!! Specs as below:

BMW Z4 2.0i
White
2008
Red nappa interior
18" 108 wheels (I think....the star shape lol)
51,000 miles
£8,000

mods (that i know of)
Exhaust
Z4M front bumper
red leather roll hoops

Been searching for a white Z4 and almost gave up hope and got a black 1, then a week ago 1 popped up for sale in Northern Ireland!! (I'm from near norwich) so after several messages and many, many photos and videos sent to me I decided to take the risk and booked a flight for £60 on Friday morning to Belfast airport and met the guy there, car was completely as described and in amazing condition so after a test drive etc I parted with £8,000.

Then for the journey home.... A 2 hour drive (100mile) to Dublin then booked up a ferry to Holyhead for £180. Then drove off the ferry and drove all the way home in ONE go for nearly 6hours (400mile) non stop and the car felt fine and dealt with it absolutely fine so that was also reassuring! Owned the car less than 10 hours and already done a solid 8 hours driving and loved it!

Still driving around today with a ridiculous grin on my face :D

I'm now FINALLY a member of th Z4 club and can't wait to start modding and getting lots of help from you guys :)

1st up is to get a stubby aerial :driving:

Jamie

EDIT: pics now added :driving:

Havnt taken any myself yet but will try upload a couple that the seller sent me :driving:

Congratulations Jamie, sounds like a great example of a rare colour combo. Enjoy it!

My tip, get some wheel wax on those style 108 alloys if you're driving it through winter. Those wheels look great, and are prone to corrosion. Wheel wax and a regular wash will help.

Nice colour combo & quite a trek to collect but all part of the ownership pleasure .
Applaud your patience & tenacity , 10 months searching :o
Looking forward to the pics

Nice one Jamie, patience is virtuos! It was the colour combo and extras that did it for me when I bought my 2.0 last year. Get some happy snaps on the go!

Thanks guys! Came so close to buying a z but I wasn't really happy until I found "the one" and I'm SOOOOOOOOO glad I waited!

Will now search the site and see how to upload some pics for you guys to see before I take some myself when I get a chance :)

Hi Jamie, I'm from Norwich also, will look out for you as a white Z4 will be distinctive!

I'm on my iPad at the minute so will have to wait until I'm on the pc to upload some pics.

Nmh, where abouts in norwich are you from and what colour/year is your z4?

I'm out near Ringland but work in Wymondham, blue Z4M roadster

Er, excuse me. You admitted to when you picked up the car and yet there are still no pics. If you are not quick with the pics you could well be the first member to be pursued under the new quick pics requirement.

And to add insult to injury you're talking about replacing the slender sensual lines of the whippy with a stubby! Tut tut.

Congratulations Jingle, sounds lovely and can't wait to see it

Nothing wrong with a svelt stubby either

Not a fan of white cars because even when polished and clean you don't get the depth to the paintwork as you do with dark colours but this is nice
