Hi everyone,

After almost 2 months without a car I have finally bought a z4! Here are some pics!

Only down side to the car is that the split rims are a little corroded, anyone restored them before?

Welcome nice Z

Re the 108s mine need doing going to try Leppsons they get a lot of good feedback but others on here have done the wheels themselves

lovely looking Z

You can split the wheels yourself quite easily and do a diy refurb on the outer rim. Otherwise just take them somewhere for a pro job.

A couple of hints...You might want to search Chris's posts to see how he tinted the amber sections on his headlights (only doable on a black car really) and then you can cheaply buy all the other clear lights to match. The amber is not a good look for me. Also a stubby aerial is a nice touch most of us have.

Anyway sorry to bombard you, i know youve only just got her and want to just enjoy it without thinking about mods yet :D

It's a 2.5, 52k on the clock full FBMWSH, picked it for just over 8k! Thanks for all the comments.

I do love it to bits but the cupholder gets on my nerves! It creaks when it's stored away, so I have to drive with it folded out....forget to put it way and keep hitting my knee on it. Anyone know of a fix for this?

I do plan on doing a few minor changes, but want to keep it looking as standard as possible! Plans are to:
*Referb the wheels
*stubby
*change the orange indicators
*new third brake light (my one is cracked)
*sort out that bloody cupholder!!!!!!

I wanted the 107 wheels so might swap them out, but not sure yet!

the cupholders are easy fixed- search the how to for retro fitting them- take urs out, tighten it all up and put back -10 min job! 107s would look ace and i personally like the orange contrast with the lights
