Finally got around to the headlights!

Can someone supply this kind of service at a decent rate please. Would happily pay 30 quid + cost of materials for it.

I'm not keen on using sandpaper on my headlamps. I'd end up ruining them.

That's because the coating is still there. If you sanded it off completely you could have the lens looking brand new.

I take your point, it would have been a little better if I'd taken it a bit further. But as it was done for a visitor time was limited and had to be done between showers etc there was a practical limit as to exactly what I could do. Never the less I (and my wifes friend) was very happy with the result.

As a matter of interest what were you using to polish the headlights, I don't recognise the packets by your end result.

I think you would need to dip deeper in your pocket if you went to a commercial operator I bet it would £75 plus at least
 
Did you use polisher or just done but hand only? My effort using a 3" polishing disc and Greygate paste was no where near as good.
 
I used the wet and dry by hand and the Autoglym Restoring polish on a foam pad fitted to an normal household electric drill mostly on the low setting

Suppose I could do it for 40 for forum members :)
 
Hi Ben g,done a lot of these headlights on various cars with excellent results.If you wanted to come to me I could do them for a good price.
