Not really sure what you are trying to say.

If you are talking about the quality of U.S. made cars, with the exception of Chrysler, they are better than any European brand. The facts and stats agree.
In fact, Ford now has surpassed Toyota in quality and is equal with Honda.

If you are talking just sports cars, you have me there. In my opinion, there are only two US manufactured sports cars worth the time and trouble.

A Corvette and a Cadillac CTS-V.

I have been in a few us cars over the years, and even recent/new cadillacs, chevys, etc i find tend to have really poor qaulity plastics(on dash, etc) and the owners of these cars(EVRYTHN FROM CADLC CTS',CHEVRLT CORVTS;nice cars, crap plastics inside) have had their fair share of electrical problems,so thats why i feel bmw,audi/vw/seat group, etc are generally better qaulity/in terms of plastics, interior feel and general reliability. imo

I love the new one , white, looks good. You need to do a proper photo shoot with them nose to nose, kind of a black/white, negative /positive thing. An awesome pair...

AS for beemers being better than US made sports cars, although I swore off any more "nazi" cars (I know, that's rude) after my Audi A6 and a few Passats I find European cars to be better put together in general then the US ( and Canadian) made vehicles with slightly better quality control.
That said, weren't all or most of the previous crop of zeds "Made in the USA" ?? They seem to have done a pretty decent job so far. :D

Agree 100% , the new 'Vette is worthwhile looking at . (It's the first one I ever liked :D )

All Z4's (up to the new one) were made in the US in South Carolina. Also, all X5's and X6's are made there also.

I did think, for about a week on getting a vette, but I just don't like the look of them. They look... odd.. and they are dime a dozen. there are only 1815 Z4MC's in the US...I also looked at Boxter's and Caymans, but always came back the the MC....

Well.... any mods yet? I KNOW you've done something!

Ready to go back to RTE 192 and find that bear?

1815 MC's are the official number from BMW for all of North America. 148 Alpine White MC's.
I first thought that the 1815 number was just for the US, but GP20 corrected me on this over site.

I talked about this in a former thread. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15539&p=227587

Yeah, nice cars u have there  /and its a pretty well thought of opinion in uk/europe,that any rattles are down to the fact they were built in the us,and why the new z4 has better build quality than 1st gen model, seeing its being built in germany now/lol

(and why alpina in germany made several improvments when making the alpina rdstr, after taking a stock 3.0 from the us) :poke: :D

As a Canuck we usually spend our days figuring out how to diss the yankees but I can't on this, I thought the Zeds were designed in California, the land of Fruits and Nuts (sorry, couldn't resist) :D :D
