Finally collected my White Z4 today :-)

Hi

You may remember that a couple of weeks ago I asked the forum about what they thought about a white Z4 that I was thinking of buying.

After receiving some great feedback I took the plunge and bought it. :thumbsup:

Well, after two weeks of glorious sunshine here in England, I finally picked it up this morning and it pi$$ed down with rain all day :P

So now I am the very proud owner of (IMO) an absolutely stunning white Z4 2.0 sport c/w 108 split rims and black leather interior :driving:

Unfortunately after playing around for 150 miles today (just for the fun of it - and my god IT WAS FUN!) it is bloody filthy (a great trait in women but not in cars).

I was pleasantly suprised to learn two great things about the car :-

1) it came c/w the official BMW ipod connector, so I can put my ipod in the glove compartment and control everything with the steering wheel 8) and
2) the interior quality of the soft-top is fantastic - much better than the TT roadster that I test drove last month.

I will post some pics on Sunday (when we are next expecting to see some sunshine) after I have given it a good clean.

Once again a great big thumps up to everyone who heped my cross over from the dark side (audi) :cheers:

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. What is the difference between the 2.0 and 2.5i? I don’t think we can get the 2.0 here in the states but was just wondering. :)
 
Congrats :thumbsup: had my car since mid Jan and just got back from a run to the coast this car still makes me feel like a million dollars and smile every time i think of it.

Sorry about the exposure on some of the shots - I didn't have time to take the camera off the auto settings in between the rain storms. I didn't realise how bloody difficult it was to take a decent shot of a car - Big respect must go the to the gallery winners!

Thanks for your positive comments :thumbsup:

No, it's not new - it's a Nov 06 build on a 56 plate but the dealer prepped the car to A1 standard and I honestly cannot see a thing wrong with it.
