 the anaesthetic agents clearly got to me today!

Good work... the dash trim finishes it nicely, well worth putting that on. Good to see the hot air trick worked tightening the leather - I had less to lose with mine as they were pretty much being stripped and recoloured.

A bugger about the airbag light - will be interested to see what the reader says is the fault.

It was a risky proposition, but I like it

Agree with some of the other comments about the tri-colour wheel, would possibly stick with all black, but keep the silver spokes, otherwise the other silver bits may start looking a little out of place. Think I saw one for sale on here without the spokes, may be worth a look. If you are going for tri-colour there should be a vertical seem either side of the bottom spoke, otherwise it's a re-trimmed one, which look okay actually, just need to be priced accordingly.

Well done for pulling the trigger on this one, suspect there are a few having seen the work wishing they'd done likewise. This time, it's not you 8)

a11y, glad to see pictures of your seats!

It is all about being brave and going for it, you certainly have there!

You've been waiting for the seats for a long time, and I hope you are pleased with the feel of the MSports seats now you have them.

My transplant is planned soon now my occupancy sensor has arrived from Germany (via Joe) so I hope I can deal with it as well as you and PawnSacrifice have...... :)

Must be good to have a 100% unique Z.

They look great, cleaned up really nice.

This is a colour combination not permitted by BMW so you have a completely unique car there, unlikely to see another one, are you.

Surely you can order whatever colour you want Wondermike? Didn't know they banned certain options......

I'm very impressed with the results that trick produced, so much so that I'll be doing the same to my van seats and even maybe the leather sofa's in my lounge 8)

I was happy to see the results you achieved with your red seats, but I was also gutted not to have taken the risk like you did. That was certainly in my thoughts when I made the decision to go yellow :)

Ha, I wouldn't say I've had complete success with my mat. It could be as simple as a damaged mat (I took the mat from my van seat - this was fitted in the van throughout the camper conversion so was probably knelt/stood on quite a lot so the potential for damage to it is there) but could be the pre-tensioners that's caused my airbag fault light. Luckily I've got working spares for pre-tensioners and a pre-facelift mat (still in my now-spare Z4 heated seat which I'd rather not disturb) if either of those are at fault.

Great job a11y, they look fab! I love those seats. Almost makes me wish I found one with black and yellow instead of black and red.
I can imagine they look even better in real life too

Ps. I love that song 8)

I normally like to know what someone looks like before I have a contract taken out on them, But in your case I am willing to make an exception.... :poke:

Individual Bi- colour New England leather - Phoenix Yellow / Anthracite
Cheers, I thought it was Phoenix Yellow but wasn't 100%. I'm contacting Liquid Leather about a scuffmaster kit and the name will prove useful, although I still think I might send them a sample to be safe!

not been on for a few days so trawling through 6 pages of posts...

this just brightened my evening :D

I like the new unique look

Don't know how I missed this one, nice job a11y. I am warming to the bi-colour seats and interiors. Can I just state for the record that is the only bi-curious thought I have ever had. :P

Haha! :D
I was reading through some of the brochures I got with my car and the 100,000 z4 made included this amazing interior combo... And outside of course ;)

I want a liquid leather kit too for my Phoenix seats.... Please let me know how u get on :D
Will do, I've just been too disorganised to sort it out so far (I've got a tiny offcut of yellow lether from the underside of my seat to send to them).

Yep, the 100,000th Z4 was yellow on the outside too - I remember reading that somewhere too.

might be more difficult when it comes to sell though.
It's certainly going to limit my market, that's for sure. I've kept my original interior (standard alloy dash, black leather heated/electric non-sport seats) for resale time - I'd probably be as well selling on the yellow/black interior seperately on the forum anyway.
