After avidly searching and researching the great advice on here I've finally bought a 3.0 roadster :D
Was really sketchy at speed but I've put a set of rain sports on and had a hunter alignment, totally changed the car.
Just need some wheels now as these need a refurb but as I'm not a fan of the 108 I'll try and find some different ones.

Hi and congratulations, anyone who has followed your threads would probably like to know what range of budget you had to go to following your initial failure to find one that meet your requirements?. The car body work looks very tidy.
 
Paid £4250. It has heated sports seats, mfsw, xenon,cruise.98k.

I think the 108's look really good with the car colour. I didn't like my 107's at first but they have really grown on me.

Much prefer the 108's to 107's... If you can get some 224's. That's where I'd put my money!
 
Thanks all. Car seems good, it had rfts on front so I put a full set of rainsport 3's on. I also had a full hunter align done which made a big difference.
Our roads here are really bad, been out in the car today local and the ride is terrible on the roads here. Going up the Yorkshire dales in it tommorrow, hopefully it will be better up there or it won't be staying long :(
 
Had a cracking day up in the dales at weekend car was perfect.
Have now fitted some recon wheels. Does it look lowered?

why not trick your 108s up worth a shot
 
Excellent choice on the new wheels :thumbsup: just what I did 108's to 107's much better..

Can I recommend Wheel Woolies for cleaning them with, by far the best wheel brushes I've bought.

Really happy with the 107's was never a fan of the 108's I'm afraid.
Any idea what how much the old 108's are worth. They definately need a refurb.
