Is it a 30i or is the M40i out yet ?

If the M40i then the 35iS engine being N54 is far flatter in power delivery but sounds better. I would, however, not swap the B58 in my M240i convertible for an N54 now ... the B58 in the new Z4 appeals a lot as the Z4 looks far more 'special' than my 2 series (not that that is cheap though!)
