Finally a new owner

After years of dreaming and months of looking, I've finally purchased a Z4 and thought I should properly introduce myself :D

I'm 23 living in Redditch, Worcestershire. First car was a Vaux Corsa and then a Astra Sport Hatch. Loved the Astra but felt I should live out a new dream so bought the Zed. Its a 3.0l with a few factory extras.

I must say thanks to everyone who has given me advise before I purchased, it has been most helpful :) . I have been a member on here since just before Christmas and have been addicted ever since. A total opposite to the Astra forum which I logged on once!

I picked the car up last Sunday but have been working away so haven't had chance to post or more importantly spend much time behind the wheel.

Its amazing how many Zeds you start to notice once you drive one yourself. I didn't think there were many in my town but have seen quite a few this weekend. Anyway heres a few pictures I had from the ad (haven't got any myself yet, hoping to do this after a good wash and wax on Monday)

Azz - real nice Zed

Hope you got the hardtop too. You'll really value it's style and practicality in the Winter. For now roof down and enjoy

Thanks all.

Yes, got the hardtop too. Its still on at the moment as I'm in the process of trying to find somewhere to store it for the summer - hopefully a friends garage will be its new home! Really glad I found a car with it as I can change the look of the car every 6 months or so

The hood shoudl come with a factory cover to protect it (inc a pair of feet for the locating pins. Int he cover it can be hung on a garage wall out of the way.

Where abouts in the UK are you?

Yep, got the cover and feet. I hear they are pain to get in the cover though?

I'm in Redditch, Worcestershire

Not far off then :) You'll be able to take it to the Midlands Breakfast Club Meets at RAF Cosford, Shifnal

Fitting the cover is actually a 2 minute 1 person job if you do it logically.
