Finally a morning with the roof down

Even though the Z is my daily driver, I haven't had a nice early morning, roof down drive for a while.

Left at 0700, roof down, dawn just breaking. Few drops of rain but that didn't spoil the quiet roads or the nice chill, crisp morning. Having the sun slowly rise behind me turning the road ahead a beautiful amber made the day.

After a short 90 minutes, I was in Falmouth for a lovely couple of dives on some ww1 U boats. Not much left, just some bits of hull but some great history of them.

Oh, and a nice spot for a few pictures of the Z

Nice underwater pic.
I kinda miss diving, but I couldnt tell you exactly what I miss about it.
Packed it in around 10 years ago after a bike accident and I was struggling to carry the weight on my knee.

Ah that's a shame. It is a fair bit of weight, especially when shore diving, that's only with a single 15l. Want to change to twins but won't get them in the Z, sidemount will fit though so might have to go to the dark side.

I just love being in the water, even in zero vis, just relaxes me

I think it was the challenge I liked and possibly that theres not that many people do it either.
Used to love night dives and dives in the middle of winter when there was snow on the ground.

I get you with the challenge aspect, the methodical side of kit checking I enjoy as well.

With you on the night dives, my favourite type. Love the early morning, descend when still dark and have the sun rising as you surface. Saw my only UK octopus on one of those dives

Great pics. 8)

What's is the water temp like . Not too cold yet I guess. This used to be my favourite time of year to be in the sea.

It's just starting to cool, about 15 in there now. Still warm enough for a swim
