filling up

hi all is it the norm that when filling up if you shove it in and go full bore the fuel gun just clicks straight off
not that I've filled it up a lot since i got it 4/5 times
but i have to pull it out a bit then gently pull in the trigger??
is this the norm???

Yes. You’ve got to ‘jiggle’ it a bit to get the angle right. :lol:

Try being gentle at first and don't force it in!

Have you tried using your other hand as it'll feel like someone else.

Try stroking it first and making sure the filler hole is open. You can put your finger/s in there and you'll also feel a little flap. It should open up and be a bit moist and slippery of the fluids put in before. Whenever you're ready you can stick it in and start filling up. Careful not to go for too long otherwise you risk overflowing or being squirted on with the fluid...

Careful you don't ignore the other bits of the car while you're at it. Look directly into the headlights and occasionally honk the horn.

If she is still being stubborn to get filled up, I guess you'll just have to ram it in and hope for the best. She may give an audible sound, just make sure she's unlocked otherwise she'll continue to be alarmed thinking someone is trying to break in...
