Filling up to the max?

When I got mine I had issues filling up because it kept clicking within seconds. I had to hold the nozzle in the perfect position for it to fill up.

Now I have no issues. Don't know if that's because the problem has gone or if I've got so used to the correct position I now do it naturally :scratchhead:

I have that same problem. not just in this car but in others as well.

Seems to be a pump problem,, some just seem to be more sensitive

put it in, pull out slightly then turn 90 degrees. i find that it doesnt click as often since there is room for the air to come out. if it keeps clicking, see if u can get a bit more air out or squeeze halfway. Only happens in the z4 for me

Most pumps are a pain with the Z4, had it on several other cars too though.
I find I have to turn the nozle so the handle is pointing forward and try and push the nozzle down at the same time.
I rarely find a pump that isn't overly sensitive, but I can still fill the car to the brim.
